The web experience and the software is worse than any I have seen in at least 10+ years.
2 of 4 found this helpful I'm astounded at how many 5 star reviews this item gets. The web experience and the software is worse than any I have seen in at least 10+ years or more and that is coming from an expert. I have programmed for 40 years including banking web sites. It took 3 days to figure out what was the correct software because no where on the product does it match the descriptions of what to download. Once I finally found the correct software for this unit (v 3.5) . It took me two days of trying to download because it kept coming up with 404 errors. (no the link was not hijacked, it was the correct link) . I finally got it downloaded today and installed it. The software won't do anything. It allows me to pick English for the language and then will not accept typing to put in serial number. Additonally the screen is all broken up with parts in the wrong place like the programming has no idea how to interpret Windows screens. If you press the update button anyway, it returns an error in another language that appears to me to be Spanish but I am not a linguist., and despite choosing English. And I'm supposed to trust this on my beloved Mini?
