Do your research
Inexperience lead to believing there would be a substantial improvement in performance, but because the original cpu and this replacement have the same front side bus speed (800 Mhz) there is little if any improvement.
I guess I have to be happy as this cpu works well.

WORKS
I didn't really "install" it. I had an installation that needed a product key.
I'd give it 5 stars but for the fact that it is still Microsoft.
