About

Assistance League of St. Louis is a volunteer-driven nonprofit that has served St. Louis City and County since1987. We work with school districts and other partners to invest in student success and support families in crisis through five community programs. Our vision is that everyone has what they need to pursue their goals.

Our nearly 500 volunteers:
• Give books to young children to build home libraries and spark a love of reading.
• Outfit students with uniforms, shoes, coats, and other basics so they can attend school.
• Provide beds, bedding, and household essentials for families rebuilding their lives.
• Supply items to offer comfort and dignity to sexual assault survivors and women in shelters.
• Award scholarships to empower women to pursue their goals.
