Think of it as a pet project piece.
1 of 1 found this helpful For the price it's worth getting one if you've always wanted a doubleneck but didn't feel like paying 2 or 3 grand.
I view this as a pet project piece. The body construction and hardware were surprisingly good for the price. Pickups were adequate but will need to be swapped out for what I'm after. The biggest downfall is the neck setup which is utterly not done at all! Both 6 and 12 string necks need full setups and truss rod adjustments. The piece is unplayable as it is out of the box. If it comes back with a little elbow grease then it's worth the investment. But with a hardshell case included in the price it will be easy to get my money back from resale if it doesn't live up to my expectations. If you are good with guitar setup and maintenance it is worth the money to try doing your own Frankenstein thing to it but as a pro piece ready to play live out of the box? forget it.

Overall Great Product
1 of 1 found this helpful Overall this is a much better product than other brands of the same design. Steel components instead of plastic means this should last for the long haul. Very stable at full height and width. The wingnut connectors are also steel so ones they are tightened up all connections were solid as a rock. I loaded it up with 14 Pars and 4 specials and a hazer and no sag of any kind. The only reason I gave 4 stars was that one bolt hole for connecting one of the I=beams was off so you couldn't put the bolt through. It was an easy fix with a drill and a metal bit but I expect brand new stuff to work out of the box. But I definitely recommend it over the On Stage and American DJ stuff.
