The original was made of wood, the model is plastic.

1 of 1 found this helpful Looks good but having trouble finding the transition track that couples superelevated track to the no-elevated track. After much searching found the part number on the Kato website but can't find the track itself for sale anywhere. Will keep looking but meanwhile will keep the track I have in the original package for possible return.
By 'COERCED' in the title I mean that the questions about durability, recommendations and entertainment MUST be answered before the review is accepted. So I checked off 'YES' without having any real opinion yet about these three features, just to get the review published.
