DIY

If you are a DIY'er and want to get a pretty good edge on your old chisels etc this is fine. From a professional point of view it needs to be made from metal not plastic. The basic design is sound but the plastic has too much give in it to be accurate. Its ok for a quick grind to the right angle but to be right it still needs finishing by hand on a wetstone.

Very good

Bough this as I use Bosch 18 volt tools so have plenty of batteries spare. If you had to buy the battery and charger it would make it expensive. Got it after watching a youtube comparison some guy did between this and a deWalt one and the suction on this was much greater. If you are sucking up fine dust the filter blocks pretty easily. Mine is mainly wood shavings and its not so bad. Cant buy them in this country so remember theres no warranty. Having said that I ordered this on a Friday and it arrived the following wednesday! (Also got stung 20 quid import duty)

Accuracy?

I use these regularly but for accurate work I use some of the old wood handle type. These are ok but accuracy is a little out, particularly on the 24 inch one
