Good blanks
1 of 1 found this helpful I couldn't find anyplace to find the replacement Suzuki keys. Not Walmart, not the auto parts stores (who recommended a locksmith--like I can afford that). I ordered these and took them to Lowe's to get cut, but it turned out they don't have the template for them, so it was a no go. Then I had to take my car into the Suzuki dealer (they don't have any new ones to sell, but they still do parts and service) for some other repairs and it turned out they could cut the keys. Anyway, they worked just great.

Beautiful Sound For A Classic Album
Fantastic hi-res sound with the blu-ray audio--no need to buy an expensive SACD. Since it is a blu-ray disc, I would have had no way to rip MP3 files from it, but the included code for an online high quality download worked just fine. As for the album itself, there are some fantastic songs here and about 3/4 filler--a typical Elton John album from this era. The good stuff is really great and makes the purchase worthwhile. Good surround mix.

Cleanest Yet
You know the album and the music, so this is just about the sound quality. Having owned the original LPs back in the 70s, I know what the noise used to be like on this album. All albums from 1970 and before were like that. When the remastered CD came out, it cleaned up the ambient noise and made the album way more listenable--it was a dramatic improvement. The SACD version takes it even further with a 5.1 surround mix which seperates the instruments, lowers the ambient noise to nothing and really lets you enjoy the musicians. They can't make the flat recording of the vocals sound any brighter, but at least you hear them as well as possible. It's probably not overstating things to say that the 5.1 mix is relevetory, as it really does let you hear the individual instruments much more distinctly, yet is done in an aggreeable way that doesn't sound at all gimicky.
