It's too early to tell
It's made from hard plastic with a glass plate screwed against a rubber flange. How waterproof it is, I have yet to find out? I wanted it for the side of the house, so as to shine down the entry but the horizontal movement is limited, less than 90 degrees, so just faces nextdoors wall.

Easy to clean, bung it in the washer and give it a good shake to plump it up again

Ten year warranty
It replaced the old one which was just out of its 10 yr warranty. If I this one lasts ten years I'll be happy.
