Downside is nineral Crystal. For a field watch saphire is a must. Glow well in the dark, and a change for a red nato strap is the best desition I had.

A New Classic Flieger
This watch is a mix of features present in other brands in regard of the classic German Pilot Watch of WWII. Sine the original Laco B-uhr was 55 by 22mm, this Bateman is 40 something trying to be in midway of the original and a wearable watch. His Rose Gold tone is close to Bronze hype of today. The face with the handscript Ingersoll, day-date and the words automatic and other not affect or overcharge, only say its elegant, a tool and a tradition. In short its feel like a honest but elegant WWII watch, and under rated new classic.
