Right tool for the job
If you are doing a brake job on a rear caliper setup with a parking brake, chances are you need a tool similar to this one.
For me I was working on a Honda, and this was the right tool for the job, while I could of bought a more expensive tool that would work in multiple applications, my research proved to show this tool might be the right tool for the job!
For the price, I decided to take a chance, And As it turned out it was the perfect tool for the job, screwed the caliper back in as required, all while compressing the caliper piston, to make room for the new brake pads. After removing the caliper, setting up the tool, and opening the bleeder valve the tool worked perfectly for the job, and best thing of all was its compact design, it fit nicely in my toolbox awaiting the next time I will need it.

Process of elimination
There are very few things that an go wrong with a washer, short of extensive use. If yours is like mine, and stopped working in the middle of a load and won’t spin, and you do not hear the motor chances are you fried the circuit board by overloading the machine
That is were this part will save the day, they use the same circuit board in many machines, it is a easy fix if you are mechanical inclined.
Beware this may not be your problem, but if the circuit board has burn spots after disassemble chances are it is the culprit
First thou check the simple stuff....
Is the belt broken?
Does the motor spin by hand freely?
Did you clean out the pump filter trap?
Are the safety ground switches on the front and back working?
If all these things look good, and the washer won’t spin then this part might be bad.

Right tool for the job
I bought the tool for compressing a 4-piston caliper. While I could do the job without the tool, the simplicity of how it work was worth every penny.
Removal of the caliper was required to use the tool, but I was ok with this; by removing the caliper, aligning the tool, and opening the bleeder valve, the caliper compressed evenly without stress on the seals. As soon as it was compressed enough to get the new brake pads on, I closed the bleeder valve, and reinstalled the caliper and new brake pads.
I flushed the system as standard brake job practice, but honestly I feel I could of skipped this step if in a rush.
Only thing I cation you about the tool, you can over compress the caliper during the process, but if you pay attention, you will love this tool for the price
