When the AON was great
The second of two great Art of Noise records from the mid-80s. They would go on to do good work in the years that followed but they never quite found the magic sauce that made this and its predecessor Who's Afraid of the Art of Noise special. Trevor Horn, of course, gained fame for producing Yes (circa Owner of the Lonely Heart) and Anne Dudley has done some fine work arranging and composing. But if neither had done anything else, these two records would be a great legacy by themselves.

Almost perfect box set
The music is wonderful. Glenn Gould called him one of the great communicators and you can clearly hear why in this set. I'd call this box a 4 and a half star set; only a little more information on the recordings in the booklet would have made it just about perfect. But make no mistake, Richter truly was one of the greats.
