The handle busted on the 1St trip
2 of 2 found this helpful The rod is light weight, yes. quality, questionable. The handle busted 2 inches behind the reel seat during a local rockfish trip. Had about 6 or 7 drops, Never hang up on the bottom. All the fishes were only 2 to 4lbs. Even there is warranty .my confidence on the rods is totally gone now. By the way Shimano had changed warranty from life time to only one year. Take your own risk!
