Deep Purple Live In London 1974
Deep Purple had just recruited 2 new members David Coverdale Vocals and Glenn Hughes Bass/Vocals who were joined in June 1973 to compose and produce the highly successful album Burn. Released in early 1974, along with original members Ritchie Blackmore Guitars, Jon Lord Keyboards and Ian Paice Drums, Deep Purple embarked on a successful tour that included the California Jam on April 6th. When Deep Purple returned to England, they performed at the Gaumont State Threatre in Kilburn, London on May 22nd in association with the BBC Sounds Of The 70's series hosted by Mike Harding who introduces this show. Live In London 1974 is a great performance that saw Deep Purple Mark 3 firing on all cylinders during their highly successful Burn Tour! 🙂

Deep Purple Live In Europe 4CD
1 of 1 found this helpful I really enjoyed this release as it features 2 full length live concert performances during Deep Purple's 1993 The Battle Rages On Tour. The first concert was at the Schleyer Halle in Stuttgart Germany on October 16th 1993. The second concert was at the NEC in Birmingham England on November 9th 1993. Both live performances proved that Deep Purple Mark 2 were performing just as good in 1993 as they were when they first formed in 1969. The significance of these 2 shows is promote the Deep Purple's 25th Anniversary together. Sadly they were the last shows to feature Lead Guitarist Ritchie Blackmore, who decided to for leave due to irreconcilable differences with Vocalist Ian Gillan making this box set a true treasure for lovers of this line up of Deep Purple! 🙂
