low cost alternative to expensive "rare earth" mic.
1 of 2 found this helpful It has a flat "20 to 20" response at a comparatively low price. Of course there really is not much involved in creating an RTA mic past getting a good element. For all intents & purposes a very workable & extremely flat unit can be made from an electrical outlet box & parts from Radio Shack for under $14 that can match the $3,000 top of the line condensers.

IT TYPES
