Perfect fit for a bug with a mechanical fuel pump

Great fit! The other clamp I had was the wrong one, or a poorly made clamp. It had the same configuration, but the nut was snugged up right against the mechanical fuel pump. Probably made for Bugs with no mechanical fuel pump. This one was just right and I am now able to adjust the distributor without any heroics.

Nothing like the real thing

I ordered this off ebay after having suffered with aftermarket flappers. There are a lot of aftermarket flappers out there and they just don't work. They don't stay up when you flush and you have to hold the handle.. otherwise you end up with nasty scenes in the bathroom. Put this flapper in and right away, my Toto started working like it did day 1. In this case, original equipment is a must.
