Looks great but didnt come without some headache and frustration.
2 of 2 found this helpful Okay I want to start off by saying I do like these lights. They look great on my truck. Ive had the tail lights on my truck for about a week now and the headlights have been on for abou 1/2 a week. Overall I'm satisfied with them but I'm giving it 3 stars for a few reasons. Let's start off with the tail lights.
1) On these new tail lights, the brake light is on the bottom and the reverse light is in the middle. In the stock light it's the other way around. So basically you have to pull the wire and get the reverse light to fit. The length of the reverse wire is slightly shorter than the brake light so thats why its a bit challenging to install. I was able to do it without extending the wire but it wasnt easy nor was it too terribly difficult. Once you get it in tho it wont come out. I was glad to see the stock lights twist and lock in the holders with no problems. All the new lights hold the stock lights just fine they arent loose or anything. All of them are held firmly in place
2) The tail lights do allow moisture to get in. To be honest I was sort of expecting this to happen since they are relatively cheap lights but looking at them i noticed between the plastic light and the inner casing that there is a good sized gap that goes all the way around. However its nothing a little caulk cant fix. The tail lights were very easy to put into the truck they lined up with the screw holes in the bed with no problems at all.
Moving on to the headlights. These were definitely a pain to install. Mostly because I was working on this in the middle of a snowstorm it was windy and wind chill was like 10 degrees so that of course didnt help. I decided to wait until the morning to finish installing them. Once I could actually see what I was doing it was okay. Anyways moving on.
1) I would consider this as more of an inconvenience than a complaint but in order to screw in the 3 10mm bolts for the frame, you will need to unscrew and pull the headlight off the frame, install the frame, then pop and screw it back into frame.
2) The very small lights on the end I'm not exactly sure what they are I'm guessing it's another turn signal light but both of my small lights dont work so I didnt bother trying to even put them in but they did not want to twist and lock into the light. The rest of the lights went in just fine. I was able to get it in and twist it a hair but it just kept falling out when driving so since mine dont work I didn't find this to be much of an issue. I just have a couple dangling lights now tho.
3) I probably should have seen this coming but since it is black and the reflectors are black, they do not reflect light as well as the stock ones. As you can see in the picture I uploaded, the amount of light coming out was very low and that was with high beams and fog lights on. When the high beams aren't on theres almost no light at all. So you will have to upgrade your lights. I plan on switching to LED's now because of this.
Now for some flaws I noticed about both the head lights and tail lights and more things to expect.
1) There are a few rough spots on the lights (mostly in the headlights) however, they are not visible when installed.
2) the lights do feel rather cheap but do fasten in place quite well they arent loose or anything.
3) they aren't very flush with the body of the truck (especially the headlights). However I was expecting this since again they are cheap lights. But they lined up much better than I was expecting them to. The tail lights line up great except for in between the tailgate and the light. When you open the tail gate theres a gap but you gotta be very close to even notice it. From what is visible all the time, they actually do sit pretty flush with the body there.
4) The frames are plastic like the stock ones however the plastic isnt quite as strong on these so when you tighten them, dont overdo it. Just get them nice and snug and they wont go anywhere.
5) It does not come with instructions and instructions and I was told the instructions were not able to be obtained by them. However I'm 17 and normally not very great at working on my own stuff and I figured it out with no instructions or online help so you should be able to figure it out too.
Overall despite the headache these lights have put me through I am satisfied with them. I would recommend these lights as long as you know what to expect once you get them. They look great on my truck and has totally changed the look of it. I revieved the lights very soon after I bought it and I live in north carolina and the seller is on the west coast so I was very pleased with it arriving so soon. It is also packaged VERY well. The tail lights are wrapped up in a lot of bubble wrap and the head lights were in a box inside of the box everything was in. They too were very well wrapoed and they all had a clear sheet of plastic over the plastic to protect it from scratches, etc during shipping.

Honestly very surprised
I recieved it in the mail yesterday and when I saw the package I thought for sure it was the wrong item because it came in what looks like a 12x12x8 package. Opened it up and sure enough they somehow managed to cramp it in there. Im still mind blown as to how they managed to pack it in there I had a great laugh about it. I haven't had the chance to install it yet but looking at it overall I can tell its the right one and feels kinda thin but overall it's just a fender liner im sure it'll do the job just fine.
The oem ones have 5 vents at the bottom of the fender well by the part that connects to the bumper but only 2 of the 5 vents are functional from factory and I assumed that would be the case here. I have a cold air intake that runs to where this will be so I was planning to carve out the other slots and make them into functional air vents for my intake but this one already has all 5 vents carved out and functional so I was very surprised at that as well. Overall very happy and can't wait to install it. I'll update my review once I've installed it which will hopefully be later today or tomorrow once I have time after work to pick up more plastic clips and install this

Arrived early
Just recieved the engine mounts in the mail to go along with the new motor I'm putting in my 04 Dakota. Got them 3 days early. Packaging wasn't anything special but wasn't terrible. Seems to be pretty high quality. I'll update my review once my new engine arrives and hopefully they work out as good as they look.
Edit: they do not fit a 3.7 Dakota. They look nice but they are nothing like the mounts for a 3.7. My buddy with a 5.9 said they look nothing like his either. They seem eager to understand the issue and issue me a refund so that's why i'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1.
