Solid camera with a lot of features for action, sports and general photography
8 of 10 found this helpful I love this camera due its ergonomics. If you have used a previous 7D or 5D camera you'll feel like home with the 7D Mark II. The camera has the best button layout for focusing in take photos and forget everything else. Sure, the camera has a lot of features in order to optimize sports and birds shooting, if you need the camera for those purposes you have to learn in detail how to use its complex autofocus system. If your shoot for travel photography like me, that excellent focusing system is ideal for compose and capture subjects with precision and speed, better that anything in the Canon lineup. Image quality is excellent, you'll only complaint about this point if you have to shoot in really dark environments without tripod (ISO 6400 or more). Otherwise this camera produces sharp and crisp pictures in every situation, with excellent color rendition and good dynamic range.
