Subtle changes, but worth the effort.
The 6 Sigma kit is a good basic jetting package. I installed the suggested parts into a 1985 Suzuki 1200 Madura. A few tweaks later, it runs smoother, gets better mileage, and is generally more fun to ride.
I ended up using the recommended pilot jets, fuel screws at 1.5 turns out, OE float height, needle in the stock position (no shims), and the recommended mains. Runs the way it should have from Suzuki.
Worth the epic effort of removing the carbs on this old V4. Thanks to 6 Sigma for even taking the time to look at the 1200 Madura.
