Sell me a damn replacement lid!
I'm surprised to be asked to review this product now; I don't know how long I've had it. At least a year, I'm sure, maybe several. I've always been very satisfied with it, and I'd give it 4 or 5 stars-- except for a problem with the lid.
The lid is plastic, and it's a little tricky to lock it in place when you use it. I'm OK with that. But a little piece of it broke off a while ago, and it became a little harder to use, and then apparently another little piece broke off, so now it's VERY tricky to use; I often need several tries to get it started, and I have to stand there and hold it down. You wouldn't even notice the lid is broken by looking at it, until you try to use it.
Now, I wouldn't mind that; I would be happy to order a replacement lid-- except replacement lids have been out of stock at least for months, and there's no evidence that they have any intention of ever making any more. If I could get a new lid for it, I'd answer those questions differently and give it more stars. Support is part of the value of the product, and they're not supporting it.
It's to the point where I'm considering getting another grinder, even though this one would be perfectly fine if I could just get a replacement lid. If I do have to buy another grinder, it won't be this model and perhaps not this company.
