Dell 3010cn Color Laser Printer

Since this is the first laser printer, therefore, the review is based on my experience on this printer only. The printer came with a large box and it was quite heavy. Setting up the printer, as far as I'm concern, it was quite easy. It took 10 minutes to install all the toners, and drum as per the instruction of the manual. Connecting was quite simple too, just hood up the internet cable to the router and installed driver to each work group computer. Then the printer was ready to perform. The first print time was 17-20 seconds. Color printing was amazing, and the black text was crisped and cleared. Also, the printer has a lot of features, and it takes time to get used to. What I don't like is, the printer is noisy and the starter kit comes with the printer is only half of the capacity, that means, it can only print 1000 pages color instead of 2000 as per the specification. However, I like the idea of Dell Toner Management System which allows you to check the status, and printing log online. By far, I am quite satisfied with the printer, and I can say it's worth to buy.

So far so good.

Had replaced the original Samsung which drained battery less than 3 hours. Two weeks had gone, the power only down 20-25% with normal usage, like reading books, checking email, watching youtube for 45 mins to an hour which is higher than my expectation for a non-oem battery. The battery is a bit narrow which leaving two small gaps in the battery compartment. Installation is not easy and it broke the plastic tools.
