Better Than Factory Part
The stock gear is plastic, this replacement is metal. Shame on Honda for even trying plastic to start!

Perfect WiFi
I wish Apple stuck with their line of routers. Simple setup, a rock solid network solution. And the easy ability to extend the same WiFi SSID name in hard to reach places in a building is great, devices seamlessly switch to the stronger signal when you move around. Pretty awesome!

A Must For Apple Users
I have a relatively small house, about 1800 sq ft. My internet router is located in the rear corner of my 1st floor, so the 5 Ghz doesn’t reach my bedroom on the second floor opposite corner of the house. I disabled my ISP Wifi I radio and installed thIs Airport Extreme, created a new wireless network, and added a wired Airport Express to extent the 5 GHz SSID. It worked FANTASTIC! It’s a shame that’s Apple stopped making this product, it’s the only product that seems to truly be able to easily extent an existing Apple WiFi network without creating a separate SSID. This AirPort Extreme is only a 4th generation, most likely 10 years old, but it’s the best WiFi my home has ever had! I plan on purchasing a backup, 6th generation A1521 to replace this older Express, but won’t do so until it finally kicks the bucket.
