Great printer at a great price
I have an 8600 so knew what to expect with the 8100. First, the software worked fine; that is not always the case with HP. HP has come a long way in the last few years. The printer is fast and the paper handleing is flawless. The quality of the print is very good and the ink is affordable. What else do you want? Note: I used the newest software from the HP support site instead of the disc that came with the printer. I also updated the firmware which is not very hard to do.

I was destroying the rubber belts. The vacuum works much better now; the brushes spin a lot faster.
