One for computer tweakers, definitely not Plug & Play.

Struggling to get it going due to driver unavailability for Windows 7 and upwards, tried XP but not much better, Currently getting best results from Windows 2000. which I have had to recycle a Pentium 4 machine as my XEON motherboard chip set is disliking the win 2K, tons of incompatibilities. This is one for Server operating systems or perhaps LINUX, which I understand still supports SCSI.

Very good value but slightly less than top quality.

I bought these for a major studio installation and was very please with the value for money. The plug shafts are a little loose and this causes the shells to move some what when inserted. Thais is no problem at all when used in a fixed install if you cable tie the looms together. Electrically the contacts are great, with the tip being gold plated for extra corrosion resistance. Pity they did not choose to plate the ring at least. I am a professional studio designer and would recommend these for all budget installations, with care in patchable situations due to the slight looseness of the shell after assembly. I was not sure I really needed this module, but I use it all the time, it's continuously patched in all setups. If you're into modular, get one.
