Interesting but slightly disjointed
An interesting book with small stories and insights about growing up in Astoria, Queens NY in the 1980's and 90's. Touching but ultimately tragic with only really a binary choice of stay and stagnate or leave and blossom. Ditto Montiel leaves obviously. But the idea of falling in love with the characters the author grew up with is what makes this an interesting read.

Your retrogaming wet dream realised!
A good entry point in to retro gaming, emulates all 8bit and 16bit systems and is limitless once an sd card is used. Only has one issue you can't organise the games on a single sd card by system. But if you can live with that or use several low capacity sd cards per system. This beauty is a retogamers dream.

The other bit of Genetics
The book is fascinating offering a glimpse in to the field of epigenetics. The part of genetic expression outside of the certainty of DNA. A good example given in the book is about why identical twins aren't actually identical.
