The Shack
This is a life changing book. A friend loaned me the book and after reading it I wanted to have one for myself so that I could re-read it as often as I wanted. I have since purchased several through ebay and have given them as gifts or loaned them out. It 's the story about a man whose daughter is kidnapped and murdered by as serial child killer but her body is never found;just her bloody dress in an abandoned shack deep in the mountains. He falls into a "Deep Sadness" and one day he finds a note in his mailbox that says "Mack, it's been a long time since we've talked. Meet me at the shack next weekend" It's signed Papa (his wife's favorite name for God). He goes to the shack alone and there meets God, Jesus & the Holy Spirit in very different forms that he had expected. Throughout the weekend they help him deal with the Deep Sadness and his anger and pain. Even though it doesn't sound very uplifting it really explores each person's faith beliefs.

Excellent product but not for all curly hair
As a former hairdresser I can tell you that this is for a very specific type of curly hair. It does not give extra body but it helps to tame very strong curly hair that has a lot of natural body. This is perfect for curly hair that when wet looks like nice loose ringlets but when it dries turns into very curly BIG hair. Think Hawaiian, Polynesian or South American type of curly hair. It never gets crispy or hard feeling. Your hair stays soft and nice feeling. If you have fine curly hair that needs body this is not for you.
