Good soundbar for very modest price
1 of 1 found this helpful Works best with the UltraSharp DELL monitors (that have power supply output for the sound bar and the mount clips on the back), but keep in mind that you can't use newer headsets with combined headphone / microphone 3.5mm jack (which has four sections as opposed to just three, as in a regular stereo plug) in the outputs on the left-hand side because that newer plug seems to shorten inside, and produces almost no sound in the headphones. Regular headphones with the classic stereo jack work fine.
The sound quality is very good, and the best part is that the soundbar goes to sleep as the monitor does, so it doesn't drain power aimlessly!
I had to cover the power light in the middle of the grill with a piece of black electric tape because when the soundbar is on, that light seems to shine directly into your eyes and is very distracting (who would have thought of such a design blunder?)

Very good adapter!
Works well with all PS/2 keyboards that I've got (and I've got quite a few)

Huge and heavy but does the job!
A word of caution first: this power supply is surprisingly big and bulky, almost twice of the original one that it has replaced. On the other hand, the original was rated 135W, and this one is 150W. I did not even have to unplug the original AC-to-the-adapter part of the power cord, as it fit this power supply just fine. The problem with the original power supply was that it stopped reporting its wattage to the computer (it does so via the central pin) but was still able to provide with the right voltage, and power on the computer. As a result, at boot my laptop was issuing a warning, and no matter what you do, it was running CPU at the lowest frequency multiplier, which was 5+ times slower than its top speed. This replacement adapter was immediately recognized by the laptop, works perfectly, and the CPU is fast again! So my only concern is the adapter's size, which is rather difficult to judge from the pictures, and no dimensions / weight are mentioned in the description. Also, unlike the original DELL adapter's, the power plug that gets inserted into the laptop does not have a LED band, indicating the power's on. To be honest, I do not even consider this as a shortcoming as the original LED was very bright and annoying, and I had to wrap it with a piece of electric tape anyways, not to be disturbed by that in the night when the laptop was closed and plugged in to charge its battery...
