Retro style that never gets old.
2 of 2 found this helpful This watch might be an old design, but it is still so great. I believe Casio follows the saying 'if it isn't broken, don't fix it' , and they are completely right. The watch keeps great time, has a stopwatch, light for emergencies, alarm, date, is water resistant and has a tremendous battery life. It's classy, comfortable, tough and reliable... for everyday use.

Purchased 3.5 years after release - Quite a bargain
1 of 1 found this helpful The phone looks beautiful at first glance. It fits perfectly in the hand and pocket. As soon as I received the phone I thoroughly examined all the settings and had a good look around the Operating System (Android Lollipop).
I was a little disappointed at first because I found it lacked a few settings I liked mainly SMS notification repeat and the ability to use SIM card for managing contacts. (I upgraded from a Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 using android Jelly Bean and it had these settings). Later I checked on a friend newer Samsung J7, it didn't include these options. I guessed maybe it's not a manufacturer thing, maybe Android OS no longer support these features.
So far so good. I've been using the phone for over 4 weeks now. Display is excellent and vivid, camera including video recording is awesome, especially outdoor full light shots. Dust and water protection is a boon. I added a silicon case and tempered glass for added protection. The phone now feels a lot tougher. The phone is quite heavy but seems well built. It feels great in hand with its metal uni-body and front glass. The lock/unlock key is too protruded and 2 times before using the silicon case the phone unlocked all by itself in my pant's pocket. However, now the case seems to have solved this problem, since it made the key less protruding.
Like almost all manufacturers, Sony installs unnecessary apps which I would have liked to uninstall but can't. Well, after all, bloatware has become part of Android. The OS is quite zippy on this powerful hardware. The battery can last 4 days with moderate use (I am a very light user and am happy with the battery lifetime), and more days or less depending on usage. The battery is not removable, which can be a trouble but I really never had a dead battery on my previous phone and never needed to remove the battery to replace it.
The speaker is a little feeble compared to other phone (maybe due to its water protection) but I managed to find a somewhat loud ringtone and notification tone to partially solve the problem. Otherwise sound quality is good.
I bought the phone 3.5 years after its release and I can say at $135, it was a quite bargain for the tremendous amount of features it offers. At its time of release it was most probably overpriced (like all other premium phone). However the phone market has a lot of competition now and we can expect to see some very powerful smartphones with good specs for a decent price soon enough.
I am reasonably satisfied with the phone ( like any other product, this one also has its little pros and cons, one must just learn to adapt and be happy :-)

Good value for money
For this price range, this cell brand is a must-try. I have tried one cheaper than this cell and was very disappointed. So far, the battery life is good and I am highly satisfied.
