They blew away with the first wind

The material is good, but sadly the elastic band on back is not strong to hold the cover in place. The wind get in from the bottom , which is hanging and flapping all the time. So when the wind hits, it just works as a parachute and they fly away. Already lost three of them. Bought them 2 months ago or less. It should be a second strap that goes on the bottom around the wheel, even two simple straps with Velcro or plastic snaps. That would hold the bottom against the tire not letting it go up, plus it will be under the axle. So no way the would fly away. You can see on second photo how it gets with small amount of wind. 3rd photo shows the elastic band around top, which will definitely not hold the cover on place.

Not enough resistance

I installed it on my 2010 F250. Looks it’s made with good materials, but sadly it only helps on the last 5 or 6 inches. If you open the tailgate, you will need to hold it anyway most of the way. It really helps only to stop the hard hit at the end. But if you have both hands carrying something , and you release the tailgate, it will go down fast and it will probably bend the base of the ball support at the bottom. I’m disappointed, since I thought it would really make a difference from the top, at least half way, but it doesn’t . As you can see on second photo, that is were start making resistance, almost at the end.
