Slippery Elm
1 of 1 found this helpful Slippery Elm is a must take in modern nutrition. If you feel discomfort eating glutinous foods or have similar intolerance problems, you will notice an immediate improvement.
Slippery Elm easily dissolves in warm water. Taste is ok without any need of sweeteners. Honey improves the test.
My formula:
- 250ml of warm reverse osmosis water
- 1 spoon of Slippery Elm
- 1 Spoon of Marshmallow Root (Optional)
- 1 Spoon of Aussie Pharma Beans and Greens Probiotics (Optional)
- 1 Little Spoon of Aussie Pharma Baby Probiotics (Optional)
- 1 Spoon of Honey or Low Grade Manuka Honey (Optional)
How the formula works:
Slippery Elm and Marshmallow root create a temporary mucilaginous film in your intestine. This fil prevents the leaky gut problem and also prevents certain immune reactions caused by certain allergens. Honey regulates the bacterial proliferation and makes the taste of the whole drink palatable and nutritious. This is a great basic formula.
Advanced formula: Aussie Pharma Beans & Greens adds a number of natural amino-acids, chlorophyll, fibre from Chlorella, Spirulina, Mung Beans, Alfaalfa plus Lactobacillus Acidophilus and Lactobacillus Plantarum. Baby Probiotics integrates Beans & Greens by adding many differentiated strains of beneficial bacteria usually present in healthy babies' guts. This mix greatly improves your gut microbiome balance where interleukins depends also from the microbiome to regulate immune response and tissutal inflammation.
Note: a senior scientist of a research centre who taught me some specific cancer biochemistry discovered that Vitamin C neutralises the effect on nitrites where nitrites definitely induce DNA mutations leading to bowel cancer. A good idea is always keeping some Vitamin C in contact with the intestine and the Slippery Elm is most likely one of the optimal mediums. I sometimes add to my advanced formula one little spoon of Aussie Pharma Kakadu Plum with Manuka Honey and Probiotics which contains 100mg of natural Viamin C, 200mg of Manuka Honey and the Acidophilus plus the Plantarum.
