Good specs; inexpensive; needs stronger WiFi
Dealer refurbished item arrived in good condition. Good cosmetically and electronically. Installed DD WRT: successful after a bit of trial and error and Google searches and reading. Have been running continuously for a few days without problem. USB 3.0 works. File server performance just OK (despite USB 3 + Gigabit Ethernet). Bottleneck probably slow CPU and limited RAM. Anyway adequate performance for very little cost.

Good Upgrade to a Core 2 Duo PC.
Swapped out a E5200 Core 2 Duo with the Q6600. Makes a very old computer run twice as fast. $15 dollars well spent.

Inexpensive Used 4th Gen Intel CPU to Boost Performace of an Older PC
1 of 1 found this helpful A used, older generation Intel CPU with reasonable performance for a modest price. Replaced the Pentium G3220 CPU in a older PC and improved its speed at least 2x.
