Functional -- does the job
I was looking for a converter FDD (male) to SATA femail, to use the FDD power for my SATA flash disk. I couldn't find any on eBay. Although this unit comes with a female FDD connector, you can stick in wires to connect it with the PSU's FDD female connector. It works!

Sturdy for my 14" laptop
I looked at several products. While others appeared more portable and lighter I was not sure if they could handle the weight of the laptop. This unit although slim is not as portable as the others (the reason for 4 stars). It has several notches to adjust the tilt to my liking. At home, it is working out perfect.

Ruckus ZoneFlex R600 UnleashedDual-Band 802.11ac 3x3:3 Smart Wi-Fi Access Point

Ruckus R600 with Unleashed firmware gives Enterprise grade WiFi in my home!
Among the "enterprise" WiFi APs, I discovered that Ruckus APs are the only ones that come with a "firmware" that supports "standalone" mode as in most consumer grade products. A few models also support the "Unleashed" firmware that provides features similar to Enterprise grade WiFi controllers. Typically the "controller" is a special piece of hardware (additional purchase) or a software based that needs to run on a 24x7 server. The Ruckus R600 can be flashed with either a "Standalone" or an "Unleashed" firmware. The Ruckus R600 that I received, came with the latest Unleashed firmware. After reading the Unleashed User Guide, it was fairly easy to setup the WiFi AP for my home use. I also opted to use the Power of Ethernet (PoE) option using a compatible PoE injector (see pictures). I have installed the unit high up in a centrally located room wall, powered using the PoE injector. Both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz radios are rock solid -- no connection drops with more than 10 devices connected to it. Later on, I may add up adding a R500 or a R600 in a different location with "mesh" mode and hope to enjoy a seamless WiFi experience throughout the home. Two thumbs up for R600
