Great short-term deal
Great deal. Has a nonstandard connection to fit an old 2-way radio, but most people cut of the usual OEM connector anyway. Old stock, so needs firmware update if you need the right date from it.

Bargain ultrawide zoom!
2 of 2 found this helpful Nikon does make two better (and still in production) ultra-wide zooms, but they cost $1000+ more.
For a little more distortion, and a little slower, you get a real bargain, and it's small and light. A good first ultra-wide.
If you find you really like the effect, you could always trade up and empty your wallet later.
Designed for film and FX digital.
Don't buy this lens for DX digital - there it's no wider or faster than the kit lens, and won't autofocus on the low end cameras like the D40.

Nice inflator
Good valve stem clamp, digital gauge works for everything from low pressure tractor tires to truck tires. Even turns automatically when it sees pressure!
