Wonderful!
Lillian Hellman's prequel to The Little Foxes with Edmond O'Brien as Ben, Frederick March as papa, Dan Duryea as Oscar, Anne Blythe as Regina, and Betsy Blair as Birdie is AMAZING! Edmond O'Brien steals the show as the oldest son of the infamous Hubbard family, and Dan Duryea (who plays Leo, the son of Oscar Hubbard in The Little Foxes) now plays his father, Oscar - the sniveling, lying, cowardly Hubbard son. Anne Blythe plays the scheming only daughter, Regina Hubbard, and Frederick March is the patriarch - the one who taught his children everything they know.
The only family member with any redeeming grace is their gentle, kind, long-suffering, and faithful Mama.
Miss Hellman really out did herself with this amazing play turned movie. O'Brien said it was his favorite film out of all the ones he did.
If you liked The Little Foxes, you'll love Another Part of the Forest.

Right Size, Right Details
These figurines are exactly what I need to create miniature scenes. I needed the tiniest skater figurines I could find, and these are perfect. I am creating a winter scene in a small, round tin. The scene is of an ice skater on a frozen pond surrounded by trees. Too tall and it will look like the skater is standing on a frozen puddle instead of a frozen pond. Also, they need to have detailed design. The painting on these evokes expression of movement and emotion, which is wonderful. These are just what I need! I know they are going to be spectacular!
