2 of 2 found this helpful I bought 2 of these Spectrum engines for $27.00 each, should have known the price was too good to be true.
Very heavy engine, uses lots of energy to pull itself and some rolling stock (say 8-12 cars) overloads your power supply quickly. Couplers are set low and will come uncoupled from your other attached cars, haven't found a way to adjust the couplers (don't think there is one).
Bachmann should have redesigned these spectrum models years ago.
I gave it two stars because it looks good.
