Wrong burner length
The burners were about 3/8" too short. I had 2 spare new burners from a rebuild kit I bought last year and I used them and cobbled two of the short ones to work. The other parts fit fine and the manufacturing quality was good. The burner length will work on the Brinkman 5 burner model but is too short for the 4 burner I have.

JUST ABOUT TOTAL SCRAP. BROKEN BOLTS & TAPS IN THE MUFFLER MOUNTING LUGS CANNOT BE REMOVED WITHOUT DESTROYING CRANKCASE. THE CARBURATOR IS MAULED AND PRETTY USELESS. i HAVE PURCHASED SEVERAL ENGINES ON EBAY AND HAVE ALWAYS BEEN PLEASED WITH THEM. THIS ONE IS TOTAL JUNK - SHOULD NOT EVEN BEEN ADVERTISED AS "FOR PARTS" - MUCH LESS AS A VIABLE ENGINE. i'LL BE SURE TO REMEMBER THIS SELLER AS A SCAMMER. -
