While it is a silicone/rubber material, the nubs on the surface are much harder than I anticipated them being. I cannot stand on it barefoot, but if I wear socks or lay a towel over it, then it works well. It does hit the proper pressure points.

So much smaller than it looks
1 of 1 found this helpful This bag really should not be listed as a tactical or range bag. It is so much smaller than it looks in the picture. My .22 won't even fit in it, let alone any ear or eye protection. Pay close attention to the dimensions listed and pay no attention to the picture - it really doesn't look like that at all. Didn't return it because the restocking fee plus return shipping would have been as much as the purchase price, so we'll try to find some sort of use for it.
