Mounting holes are not tapped.
Mounting holes are not tapped. Either need to buy self tapers, run a tap through them, or drill out larger, use a longer bolt and put a locknut on the back side. I opted to tap these out, but the hold size is larger than what would be typical for the size thread these are. So the amount of thread engagement is not has much as it typically would be. It should have been stated in the product description that the mounting holes are not tapped.
