Added security
I bought this for additional security for my camera. I need pliers to loosen the locking screw even though I only tighten it by hand. I guess that makes it preety secure. I have to assume the cord can withstand a sudden jolt - I'm not willing to put it to the test and trust Joby have done this themselves!

Heavy Duty?
I wouldn't class these mats as heavy duty, but they certainly represent good value for money. The driver's mat does travel a little, but it's snug enough not to significantly shift at any critical moment!

Love Cross pens
Cross pens always have a lovely balance in the hand. Their (branded) refills are high quality and rarely blot. The stylus has just the right amount of give and is smaller than most, making it more accurate. The barrel occasionally twists itself closed, preventing a perfect score.
