Buyer Beware
1 of 1 found this helpful I researched for quite a while for a new gun cabinet, and this particular model kept coming up over and over again. After months of thinking and researching, I finally purchased the cabinet. When I received the package, everything seemed in order. However, when I opened and unwrapped everything, the front glass door had damage to the wood. It was too late to wrap it all back up and send back, so I kept building. I soon realized that the wood is cheap particle board and very flimsy. Also, none of the hinges work properly and the doors don't close the whole way. I had to replace all the fittings around the glass to keep the windows from falling out. And the locks! How do you screw these up? The locks install just fine, but they are useless, as the don't lock onto anything! None of the doors stay shut when a lock is fully engaged! If you are considering one of these cabinets, I suggest you keep on searching.
