you get what you pay for
Its made from cpvc pipe and fittings. I use it on my boat so a hook on top to raise it would have been nice, I plan to add one.
50 mile range made be pushing it a bit, otherwise it works just okay. I get about 25 stations hosing it with a halyard on my sailboat in Cortez FL. With the more expensive antenna that I use at my home two miles from my boat, I get about 60 channels.
