AVOID AT ALL COSTS. THIS IS A FIRE HAZARD!

I bought one of these back in January of 2022 and it worked for a while until it didn't. I pushed my luck again recently and bought another hoping that it would last me a while. The one I got nearly set my laptop on fire and I was quick to remove it when I felt something get very hot. Attached are a couple of photos showing the damage. I know generic batteries are unsafe but I could not find one of these in new condition so I bought this thinking it would work. Not at all... the laptop stopped charging 10 minutes in and it then it started overheating as I mentioned before. AVOID THIS BATTERY AT ALL COSTS AND DO NOT BUY ANY OTHER 3RD-PARTY DP390A BATTERIES. If you do own a zd8000 like I do, best you have a charger with you all the time and set it to hibernate when you close the lid.
