Third Penn Slammer IV and love them all. Super smooth, well sealed, and reliably strong. Excellent price to value!

Green Blob - As good as my Atlas / Accu-shot
0 of 2 found this helpful I already own an Atlas; paying $279 for my model BT10LW17. I like it a lot and it has performed flawlessly, but I haven't gotten $279 of enjoyment from it.
I found a YouTube video of 'knock-offs' and then found one for the Green Blob wherein the YouTuber added a little grease and an o-ring and said his worked great. I decided to take a $35 chance and order one. When I got it I understood exactly what he was saying and why he said it. Like he advised I went to hardware store and bought a small tube of grease and an o-ring from plumbing...$3.71 in total. I did exactly as advised in the video and Holy Cow!, this Green Blob felt just like my Atlas.
Like the guy in the video who said he wanted to buy American...me too but like him it's hard to justify spending the additional $250 on a bipod that performs as well from for a total of $38.71.
In case it's helpful to anyone, I was at the range this weekend and used the Green Blob on a .22 tactical, 6.5 Grendel, and .300 B.O. There was no difference in performance compared to the Atlas.
The feet of the Green Blob are a different material (a bit slicker) than the Atlas. I scuffed the bottom with heavy grit sand paper and they worked perfect from the bench and ground.
