Great Generator!
1 of 1 found this helpful Generator arrived ahead of scheduled date. Open the box.Read the setup directions, less than 5 mins. Add oil and gas, pull the ezy pull start chord, done.
Champion sends a oil spout(funnel) and a spark plug wrench in the box. Have some 10W30 oil on hand, takes about 1/2 qt.
Directions say fill to about the first thread in the oil fill hole, DO NOT OVER FILL. The unit has a low oil pressure switch, so, if you don't put enough in it won't start, this is good as it lets you know there is enough oil for it to run. Once again about 1/6 qt or .6lt, oil bottle have a oil level sight on one side of the bottle.
This a voltage regulator, and meter. Start it up, run for a min or two before attaching power lines. It ran everything on my camper. Pretty quiet too, once inside camper didn't hear it. To me the lights seemed brighter than when I plug the camper into my house.
It's a little heavy, so buy a wheel kit, or get one with the kit. Kit is not to bad to install.
Get one, you won't regret it.

Bad yellow service port hose?
Hi and low pressure side gauges work great, low pressure side is, um, pressure and temp marks are a little different than my other older set, so just pay attention.
Seems to be a slight leak on yellow line, when pulling a vacuum, going to have to check the valve seating on it. Yellow works fine to pressure check, or add, just not to vac down to 500 microns
