Somewhat sparse

No doubt the author was a brilliant printing with gum. Bit I’ve found the book a little sparse on the info you need to take the first steps. His video(s) help fill in the gaps. Worth having if you find a sensible price.

Basic Analog Photography

This book is still used by Colleges as required reading for basic film photography including darkroom procedures. That says it all. The printed version is a great addition to the library, and the free pdf version is handy as a take along on iPad etc.
