Recommended if you can't afford an iPhone and need a used phone.
Came with Android 2.3.4.
Pros: Is fast and slick. Has mini HDMI out, so could watch videos, etc. on T.V. Lots of games and applications come with Android. Google sky map is awesome.
Cons: Is heavy. If you do anything but use it as a phone the battery runs out quick. Keyboard does not slide out easily. Android interface takes some getting used to unlike iPhone. Can't adjust volume without unlocking phone. Takes a number of finger touches just to call someone or browse, especially if you have Skype and Dolphin/other browsers installed. Needs a data plan.

Great for writing!
Boots up quick and is great for writing. The network features don't work when it's by itself without the central unit, but it has a standalone math quizzer built in, in addition to the several files you can write to and then connect up to your computer like a keyboard to type the files into your word processor of choice.
