The rise of king Richard

This book traces the rise of King Richard from a segregated and racist environment in the deep South of US to Crompton and to Florida. It traces his brush will the kkk and actually dressing in kkk clothes to impersonate them and setting fire to a house in a white neighbourhood in town. The book traces his first encounter with tennis, learning to play tennis and writing a 78 page plan for yet his unborn children Venus and Serena. Him teaching his girls to play tennis in a tough neighbourhood and finally getting Rick Massi to coach his girls and the rest is history. A good read and highly recommended. It’s also worth watching the movie “King Richard” as it brings some of the stories in the book to life.

Roberts Bluetooth Rambler - Is it worth the money?

This is a good radio with a good sound and DAB. Question is - is it worth the money? And the answer is an emphatic NO. Why NO? Because for such an expensive radio you will expect it to include a rechargeable battery which is charged when the mains to the unit is plugged in as standard. This should then allow it the flexibility to move the radio around without the mains but also know that when connected to the mains it will be charging the battery. It doesn’t have this!! I have an old portable radio less than a third of the price of this Roberts radio and it has the rechargeable battery in there! Strongly recommend you DON’T BUY this Roberts radio. It’s a rip off!!
