Suction cup is too brittle.
1 of 1 found this helpful I purchased two of these suction cup mounts. The first one would not stick to my windshield on the first try. Upon inspection, a crack was found in the center of the suction cup. Thinking it was a fluke, I returned it for another. When it arrived, I carefully inspected the item before opening it. What I saw was the tab was already broken off the suction cup even before the package was opened. After opening the package I took the tab out and bent it. It cracked in half immediately. This tells me the rubber on the suction cup has become too brittle to support the mount. Don’t buy as I suspect very old stock.

Tells the truth much better than the subject does!
I recommend this for anyone who believes it tells the truth.

Great when you drive too far from cell sites.
Yes this is an older model that your cell phone can far outperform until you are out of range of your carrier. Then you have nothing to use to plan a route out of where you are. I’ll keep this little jewel in my glove compartment for just those times. It works great!
