May the Force Be With You
3 of 3 found this helpful This game is phenomenal. Pre-painted miniatures, addictive squad building, heart-pounding gameplay, it's really easy to introduce someone to this game and get them hooked - which is good, because I've collected plenty and need people to play!
You could consider this core set the "second edition" of the game: the designers have a better hold on damage rules, upgrades, and stable gameplay. But they're entirely compatible with older sets, and vice versa. Sets are spendy, but always worth every penny you invest in them. I haven't regretted a single purchase.
