Worthwhile as it represents a fine historic workhorse of the USCG
I've owned several, this one I sent to a retired coast guard officer who served as commander of the Port Orford Lifeboat Station which employed these boats until the station closed in the mid-1960s. It's the only one on the market... It has its challenges in holding the hull together while gluing, but it has decent detail and does represent the real craft faithfully. The boat includes its twin diesel engines which are not visible when the craft is fully assembled "for action," but a creative modeler could work up ways to reveal the engine compartment interior and make the craft more a more interesting display.
