You won't regret it !
2 of 2 found this helpful All I can say is WOW. This thing is fast and reliable - ignore any negative reviews you may have seen on this model, it is excellent and the software straight-forward and perfectly usable (free download).
CCD imager's are offset by several inches and do not interfere with each other. You will get better image quality if you turn off 'streak correction' as this is unnecessary if you keep the scanner imager's clean. As a caveat I found I had to place an additional stop at the top of the feeder to keep the pages feeding straight when scanner thin magazine paper as these tend to be very slippery and slide sideways with gravity.
I clean my rollers with isopropyl alcohol and a clean cloth. The software has an option to allow asking every time the hopper runs out if you want to scan in more pages to the current document; you simply hit enter and away you go.
I am using a 6-core x 2.8GHz (1600MHz memory) AMD processor with windows 7 64-bit and 4GB of RAM and fast hard drive and I can cruse along at 50 pages a minute in 300dpi color, PDF Searchable turned off (otherwise you take a significant post-processing hit) and scanned in a 500 page (250 sheet) document at 470MB file without a hiccup. Much much faster if using 200dpi.
Straight-through mechanism is definitely a plus for snag free scanning. Thank you Kodak.

Evaporates completely , good reflow
Low temperature , good for re-flow applications , no residue that I can see . Comes as (2) bottles , one 3 inch + one 4 inch tall .

Lowest cost adapter I could find , connectors are good quality , shield is not full wrap but matters not much on audio cable this short . Does what it is supposed to .
